Stage 8: Rosarito Nuevo - Guerrero Negro - 80km

One of the easiest stages of the Baja Tour will give you much time to enjoy the nature, take some pictures and get ready for the next part of the desert.

• km 11: a decent, but not very steep climb. After this, its pretty all straight and flat all the way to Guerrero Negro
• Be prepared for a wind change, once you get out of the mountains
• Long before getting into Guerrero Negro, you will see a huge Mexican Flag, indicating the Border to Baja California Sur. Make sure to have enough water as you soon will feel dried out on this part
• km 44: Villa Jesus Maria. Food and Water. You can also get supply in some Locherias further down the road. 
• Turn right to get into Guerrero Negro. There is one highly recommended bike shop in the center of the town. The staff is super helpful and will make all possible efforts to help you with any problems. You find the shop ca. 1,5 km after the Town Entrance on the right side of the Boulevard. Ask for Alejandro the young bike mechanic and you will have a motivated guy to take care of your bike! :)
• Traffic will be moderate on shoulderless and small roads but these will usually be in good conditions.
