- the first 50km after leaving Vizcaino are all flat.
- after 50km you will find some minor ups and downs and just about km marker 80 there will be 2 minor climbs followed by a military check point.
- After passing this check point, you will soon see the green oasis of San Ignacio. Turn right just at the whale skeleton to get to the main plaza where you can find the mission de San Ignacio.
- two super markets. One right next to the gas station at the town entrance, another one passing the misión. Both with reasonable prices.
- Roads today are - again - pretty narrow all the way and will have no shoulders at all.
- Traffic is moderate, the only problem might be semi trucks, especially due to the small roads.
- In San Ignacio you can camp next to the river for about 30-60 pesos a night. Also negotiable as usual.
