Stage 14: Ligui - Ciudad Constitucion - 118km

One of the most challenging stages of the whole Baja tour with the biggest mountain of the entire trip. Make sure to have good legs on this day! ;) The second part of the day will be quite boring regarding the farmland you will ride through compared to the beautiful scenery of the last days.

• try to get an early start in Ligui as you will face big hills right from the beginning
• km83 (km marker). beginning of the climb Sierra del Gigante. Ascent for 7,8 km. Even if its really demanding: enjoy the great view from the mountain!
• km74: short downhill part, followed by another ascent until km marker 71. 
• km64 (intersection to Agua Verdes): Restaurant and possibilities to fill up water
• km59: Loncheria, again: possibilities to stock up water and food
• km54: Another Loncheria with supply
• km45: End of the mountains! You made it and there will be no more hill to come today! All the way until Ciudad Insurgentes it will be slowly descending. The only opponent here might be a constant headwind… Road conditions decrease here, be aware of the potholes. 
• Ciudad Insurgentes: supermarktes, hotels. Make a left to stay on Highway one which will become a two lane road for the next 27 km. Traffic will increase after C.I. but the two lanes allow you to ride quite comfortable on this stretch.
• 27 km after Ciudad Insurgentes: Ciudad Constitucion: supermarkets, hotels, bike shop.
